Displacement Studios

Privacy

Last updated 8 October 2026

This policy covers displacementstudios.com and our (web) apps. Displacement Studios is responsible for the processing described here. For privacy questions or requests, email .

Our games and software

Our games and desktop software do not independently collect personal data.

Some games use Steam platform features. Valve may record achievements, play time, and leaderboard scores in Steam to provide those features; that processing is governed by your agreement with Valve and Valve’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store that platform data.

Steam, Google Play, and the Chrome Web Store distribute some of our products. When you visit, download, or purchase through a store, you deal directly with that store provider under its terms and privacy policy, including Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Terms of Service.

Website and web apps

When you visit, our security provider, Cloudflare, processes the information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, requested page, browser and connection information. We use this processing to operate and secure the site (legitimate interests).

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page performance and aggregate visits. Cloudflare describes this service as not collecting or using visitors’ personal data. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Web Analytics documentation.

Our web apps may save user-defined settings, layout choices, and app metadata in your browser’s local storage. Those values stay on your device until you remove them in the app, browser settings, or site-data controls; we do not receive them.

Advertising

This website uses Google AdSense. Google and other advertising partners may process IP addresses, cookie or device identifiers, browser activity, and ad interactions to serve, limit, measure, and—where permitted—personalise advertising. They may place or read cookies and use similar technologies.

Where required, advertising is subject to your consent choice. You can change Google advertising preferences in My Ad Center. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner sites.

Email

If you contact us, we process the information you send, including your email address, message, and attachments, to answer and manage the correspondence (legitimate interests or steps taken at your request). We periodically remove messages that are no longer needed, subject to legal obligations. We may count enquiry types to understand support patterns; those statistics are anonymised and contain no personal data. Please do not send sensitive information, including passwords, payment credentials, or access codes.

Sharing and international transfers

We do not sell personal data. Our providers, including Cloudflare and Google, process data under their own terms and may process it outside your country. Their policies explain applicable safeguards and choices. External links, including Steam, lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights for correspondence you sent us, email us. We do not maintain customer accounts or a customer database, so we cannot erase data held independently by Steam, Google Play, Google, or Cloudflare; use their own controls and policies instead. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Browser storage can be cleared through your browser’s site-data settings.

Changes

We will update this page when our data practices change.
