The year 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Displacement Studios website, celebrating more than a decade of independent game development & publishing - and we're just getting started!
The first version is still here
Our first website was a straightforward studio home: an introduction, contact details, a project table, Steam embeds, and a modest Bootstrap layout. It records the games that were in development, queued for refurbishment, or already released at the time.
Visit the preserved Displacement Studios website 1.0. It is kept online as a working snapshot, so it can still be explored.
A site built alongside the first Steam releases
The website's first year coincided with the studio's move into Steam publishing: Aztecalypse was released on 11 November 2016.
